The Ida Public Library greatly appreciates monetary donations of any size. In addition, we frequently have new or ongoing projects that you could help us with. Please see below for a listing of current projects. If you would like to make a general monetary donation to the library, please click on the Donate button below or make checks payable to the “Ida Public Library”. Checks are accepted by mail or at the Adult Services Desk.
Donating Used Books
Our Friends of the Library Book Sales raise thousands of dollars each year for the library and we couldn’t do it without your donations!
The Friends accept most books. dvd’s, and cd’s in good condition. Items not accepted include magazines, vhs tapes, textbooks, and any materials showing mold or extreme wear.
Please bring donations to the downstairs lobby and place inside the bins. If the bins are full, please ask a staff member for help. Do not leave books on the floor or outside the library doors!
If you have a large number of boxes, please call the library for assistance in getting those moved inside. 815-544-3838.
