All Ages Programming
Frog Lady Presentation
Thursday July 18th at 6PM
This program is Full! However, you may register here to be put on a waiting list. In the event we have cancellations, we will call waiting list particpants in order of date registered.

Maker Monday Chopped Edition
July 22nd @ 2PM
Join us for a “Chopped”-style crafting program but with a twist! Do you have what it takes to create a masterpiece using only crafting supplies from a mystery basket?
Registration is required. Space is limited. Each child must register separately.
Youth Programming
Steam Squad
1st Tuesdays @ 3:30 PM
Come join us for our once a month STEAM club program! The program is geared for preschoolers & kindergarteners to learn all about how the world works! Each month we will be discussing an element of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Mathematics) and doing activities along with it!
Registration is required! Space is Limited. Each child must register separately.
Coding Corner
1st and 3rd Wednesdays, 3:30-4:45 PM
Coding Corner with robots! Learn about coding, engage in technology, and have fun in this coding club. Registration is required, space is limited. Starting July 3rd & continuing on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month from 3:30pm – 4:45pm!
This program is geared towards youth who just finished 2nd to going into 6th grade
Fly Guy Recycling
Tuesday, July 30, 6PM
Learn all about garbage and recycling with Fly Guy! We will be reading a story, making your very own Fly Guy out of recycled materials, and playing Fly Guy BINGO! You will even get a chance to take pictures with Fly Guy himself!

Cruise into Kindergarten
Friday, August 16th from 10:30-12:00
Heading to Kindergarten this year? Let us help with this Kindergarten 101! We will be reading a story, stretching our fine motor skills, practicing school skills and doing a craft!

Teen Programming
Self Defense for Teens
Mon, July 15, 3:30-5
We are excited to bring Jimmie back from Rockford S.A.C to do a Self Defense program for tweens and teens ages 12 – 17. This age appropriate, interactive self-defense program is designed to help individuals learn how to respond appropriately to different types of situations with confidence. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Registration is required. Space is limited.

Augmented Card Art
Wed, July 24 @ 2 PM
Join us for Augmented Card Art! Middle school and High School teens are invited to come recycle and upcycle playing cards with us. Materials will be provided but you are also welcome to bring your own!

Adult Programming
Mystery Book Club
4th Mondays @ 10:30 AM
Do you love a great Mystery? If so, come join us for this fun book club dedicated to all things mystery. Please register and read the assigned book for each date you choose. You will pick up your copy at the Children’s Desk Downstairs at the library. We will be meeting at the Ida Public Library Meeting Room.

Recycled Art
4th Wednesdays @ 6 PM
In this program, we will be doing a craft together using different materials and mediums while using recycled materials. If you like crafting come and join us for this fun and relaxing activity. These sessions will be held at the Ida Public Library Meeting Room.

Preserving Herbs
Tuesday August 13 @ 6PM
Seasoning is the spice of life. Let’s preserve our homegrown herbs. Join Minoo Hagshenas, Boone County Master Gardeners, as she shares how to grow, harvest, and preserve your herbs so that they can be enjoyed throughout the season.
