Do you find yourself dreaming of chess Knight and Day? Are you the second coming of Bobby Fisher? Bored of playing against the computer? Then drop in to Chess Knights, a fun, social meet up to sharpen your skills. We will have a limited number of chess boards to use, but feel free to bring a favorite board and pieces.

Attention all teens! We have a crafty kit just for you! Each kit includes all the materials and easy-to-follow instructions needed for a unique DIY craft project.
Kits are available for pick up at the lower level circulation desk about 15th of the month and must be picked up before the last day of the month.

Join us on Wednesday mornings on the lower level in the meeting room for Story Sprouts! This weekly program is perfect for your preschool-age (3-5 years old) reader to engage in stories, activities, and crafts!

Tiny Tales/Open Play

Tiny Tales is for Ida’s tiniest readers to socialize and engage in early literacy! Tiny Tales Story Time is designed for babies from newborn to 2 years and their caregiver(s)! This story time happens on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month.
Bring your little one to Open Play with us! On the first, third, and occasionally the 5th Thursday of the month at 10:30am to socialize, play, and learn!

Winter Whimsy Youth Take Home Kits
Kits are available for pick up on the first of the month and must be picked up before the 15th of the month.

Cozy up with a fun craft for those slow snow days! Pick up a Winter Whimsy Workshop Make & Take Kit, filled with instructions and supplies you’ll need to make some fun crafts in the comfort of your own home!

End your week with clarity and calm. Friday Focus is a guided meditation program to help you release the mental clutter of the week and realign with your goals and values. Mulled Wine Take Home Kit
Pick up December 15th – December 31st
We will send an email to you when the kits are ready for pick up at the lower level circulation desk.
Mulled wine is a centuries old Nordic/Germanic tradition. Its origins can be traced back to at least the 2nd century, in the Roman Empire. Pick up a mulled wine kit and see why it continues to be a winter favorite.All kits include a recipe card, spice packet, and a brief history of mulled wine.
Wine is not included. For a non-alcoholic option, grape or cranberry juice works perfectly.
