All Ages Programming
Car Care with RVC
Saturday, May 4 @ 11:30 am
Teens and Beginning Drivers
Cars are a big responsibility! Come learn about basic car care with Rock Valley College to help keep your ride running smooth. You can also learn about the RVC Automotive program if you are interested!
*Registration Required. This program is targeted for teens and beginning drivers but is open to all drivers who need to learn the car care basics!
Cinco de Mayo

Come and join us for our Cinco De Mayo celebration. We will have fun activities, crafts, and learn about this important cultural holiday. 3 PM – Friday, May 3 @ 3:00. For all ages.

Youth Programming
Steam Squad
Come join us for our once a month STEAM club program! The program is geared for preschoolers & kindergarteners to learn all about how the world works! Each month we will be discussing an element of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Mathematics) and doing activities along with it!
Registration is required! Space is Limited. Each child must register separately.
Tween Graphic Novel Book Club
Tweens, we have a special book club just for you! Join us once a month for a Tween Graphic Novel Book Club! Each month we will read the same graphic novel on our own. We will then meet up at the library to discuss the graphic novel and do an activity! Graphic novels will be available at the youth circulation desk.

Coding Corner
Coding Corner is back.. with robots! Learn about coding, engage in technology, and have fun in this coding club. Registration is required, space is limited. Starting Wednesday, April 3rd.
Mother’s Day Flower Pots
Thursday, May 9 @ 6 pm
Come join us for a special Mother’s Day program! We will be painting a flower pot and planting a flower.

Adult Programming
Grow Your Own Fruit Tree
Tuesday, May 14 @ 6 pm
Tree fruits can be grown in your backyard with proper care and training. Boone County Master Gardener, Jennifer Crider, will lead this presentation. Learn the basics of backyard tree fruits and how selection, training, and pruning are key factors for success.

Ida’s Crafts Spring 2024
The Great Bake Down Murder Mystery
Saturday, May 25, noon to 4 pm
You have been invited to the “The Great Bake Down Murder Mystery Program!” There has been a poisoning on a very popular baking show set, can you figure out whodunit!? Come join us for this in person murder mystery program here at the library! You’ll be assigned a character to play (you can even dress up as the character if you like!) and be given a brief summary of the character beforehand. Then join us as we try to solve the case of “The Great Bake Down!”
*Registration is required. Each participant must register separately.
Due to the nature of the program, this program is for adults 18 and up!
