Ages 3-12

Earn Prizes for Reading

Book-Talks can be given June 1 - July 25

 

Check Out Books from the Library

Easy (red and green dots) - 5 books = 1 book-talk

Intermediate (blue dots) - 2-3 books = 1 book-talk

Juvenile Fiction or Non-Fiction - 1-2 books = 1 book-talk

 

Read the books or listen to someone read the books to you.

 

Bring the books back to the library and discuss them with one of our librarians. One prize will be given for each book-talk with a maximum of 4 book-talks per child. A bonus prize is available for completing 4 book-talks and attending one of our summer reading programs or completing a fifth book-talk

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Young Adult Summer Reading Program

 

“ROCK-N-READ”

 

Program runs June 1—July 31, 2009

You must be 12-18 years of age

Read books from Ida Public Library

Write your reviews and collect prizes

You are allowed to write 3-4 reviews per week

Get your groove on and join us!

 

               GROOVE WEEK” June 22-26 Decorate your own guitar!
